Key points for using plastic cooling pad
Using Plastic Cooling Pad for cooling is crucial. How can we utilize them effectively so that the chickens won't catch cold?
1.When the temperature in the chicken coop is 1-4 degrees Celsius higher than the set temperature, ventilation should be strengthened to reduce the temperature; when the temperature in the chicken coop is 5 degrees Celsius higher than the set temperature, a plastic cooling pad should be used to cool down.
2. Let's first understand one thing: Turning on the plastic cooling pad is not just for cooling, but also to control the temperature in the chicken coop within a relatively reasonable range. Usually, after turning on the cooling pad, the temperature will fluctuate within a range of 1 degree Celsius. For example, if the temperature is 30 degrees Celsius today when the cooling pad is turned on, the temperature can be maintained between 29-30 degrees Celsius after the plastic cooling pad is opened. The temperature should not be excessively lowered. If the temperature difference is higher than 5 degrees Celsius in a short period of time, the chickens may catch a cold.
3. Open the plastic cooling pad from small to large. Start with the two sides of the wall, then the gable cooling pad, and finally install windshields inside the chicken coop to reduce its cross-sectional area and increase wind speed.
4. Under normal climate conditions, the temperature should be lowered by 0.3-0.5 degrees Celsius every time the cooling pad is opened. When the temperature drops to 26 degrees Celsius after opening the cooling pad, further lowering is not necessary.
5. After opening the cooling pad, avoid letting the cold wind directly blow onto the chickens. Farms with cooling pad panels can utilize the slanted surface of the panels to guide the wind direction; farms without cooling pad panels can use plastic paper or plastic bags to guide the wind direction.
6. After opening the cooling pad, ensure that the temperature difference between the two ends of the chicken coop is kept within 2 degrees Celsius. Make rational use of the number of fans to control the temperature difference. If four fans can effectively control the temperature difference, do not turn on five fans; if five fans can effectively control the temperature difference, do not turn on six fans, in order to minimize the impact of air cooling on the chickens.
7. After opening the cooling pad, it is important to master the timing of switching it on and off.
After opening the plastic cooling pad, it is important to master the timing of opening and closing it. If it can be opened for 3 seconds, don't open it for 5 seconds; if it can be stopped for 10 minutes, don't stop it for 8 minutes.
